5. Become an Early Riser. There are many benefits to becoming an early riser, including watching the sun rise, getting some early morning exercise, being able to work on a project just because it’s important to you before the day officially gets started, and so on. In addition, studies show that early rises are happier, healthier, and more productive than their late rising counterparts.
Level up your skills. If you have played video games before especially RPGs, you’ll know the concept of leveling up – gaining experience so you can be better and stronger. As a blogger, I’m constantly leveling up my writing skills. As a speaker, I’m constantly leveling up my public engagement abilities. What skills can you level up?
Start by figuring out how you want to improve yourself. Perhaps you want to be more patient, organized, assertive or compassionate. Look at your strengths and weaknesses to help you identify the areas where you want to focus your attention.
Addicts often talk about “hitting rock bottom.” Rock bottom is a place that is so destructive, so painful, that they are no longer able to avoid the simple fact that their behaviors are destroying their own lives and the lives of others. It’s only with this intensely painful realization that the addict is confronted with the transactional nature of life. That their choices have consequences, not just for their future self, but for others. And those consequences must be managed.
After seeing so many people walk the path of transformation, I’ve realized there are many phases, and they don’t look the same in any two people’s lives. Think of life as your school. You’re constantly learning lessons and growing. While we need to give ourselves permission not to know everything now, it’s important to know where we are in the process. No matter our current phase, though, these three rules stay the same:
When I was conscious enough I had to make a decision, to follow stay there and following the self pity path or to move and following the recovering path to the life I always wanted (if I didn’t died, was because god gave me a second chance)
The result was that the players started to improve without a lot of effort because they were keeping their eyes on the ball. But because of the way the instruction was given they did not have a voice in their heads saying “I must keep my eye on the ball.” Instead they were playing a simple game while they were playing tennis. Once Gallwey saw how play could be improved in this way, he stopped giving instructions and started asking questions that would help players discover for themselves what worked and what needed to change.
Put another way, the founders and Enlightenment thinkers understood that the games of politics and statecraft are inevitably played at the level of bargaining and transactional relationships, and therefore systems need to be constructed in such a way that no one person (or organization) can win too much, too often.

Wear tighter clothes. Tighter clothes accentuate the lines of your body. If you wear baggy clothes, those lines disappear, making you look smaller. Wear slim-fitting clothes that make you feel good about yourself, however, not ones you’re nervous about wearing or uncomfortable in.
Increase Your willpower. Harbouring a strong will power enhances your finances, your health, your relationships, your professional success, and all other areas of your life. Irrespective of the goals that you have set for yourself, you need the willpower to attain them.
Personal growth is the ongoing process of understanding and developing oneself in order to achieve one’s fullest potential. Personal development is a vital part in a person’s growth, maturity, success and happiness. It is the foundation of emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual health.

I think of the most important factor in personal development is willingness to move pass that comfort zone. I can understand why that article “For best results, ignore Personal Development” is saying. Because I got overly consumed by “fixing” myself and improving that I have forgotten to move forward in life.
If the above points are kept in mind, your organisation can expect to boost performance and embrace a productive working environment. Sit and reach, hanging off anything, or just keeping you hand in the air and stretching them up. Those are the main exercises. And there are many more. Most improve flexibility — growing taller is a combination of things, not exercises.
Robin, yours is a nice definition, which is focussed on presence and on self-awareness, I enjoyed that. This post again brings me back to one of my main themes of this blog, which is “personal development and spirituality”.
The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it has become “second nature” and can be performed easily. As a result, the skill can be performed while executing another task. The individual may be able to teach it to others, depending upon how and when it was learned.

How to improve your self-esteem. Liking and appreciating yourself is a right you have; you’re born with it. Therefore, low self-esteem is unnatural; it’s a state of mind imposed on you by someone else, or past experiences and circumstances. Take this fundamental right back and give yourself the chance to live the life you desire.

Extremists on the left play the same game, the only thing that changes is the language. A leftie extremist will say that she wants “equality” for all. And that she will give up anything for it. But what she really means is that she never wants to feel inferior or harmed. That she never wants to feel threatened or unsafe. Essentially, that she never wants to feel pain. And demanding that everyone be treated equally at all times, in all circumstances, is one way of running away from that pain.
