Likewise, there are situations that call for using impersonal logic to make a decision, in which the more subjective viewpoint of the Feeling function is inappropriate and ineffective. Thus GROW may be suited to working in goal-directed areas of sports or business, but may be less well suited to careers conversations, person–role fit or life-coaching conversations where other approaches such as the transpersonal or existential approaches may be more helpful.”
5. Become an Early Riser. There are many benefits to becoming an early riser, including watching the sun rise, getting some early morning exercise, being able to work on a project just because it’s important to you before the day officially gets started, and so on. In addition, studies show that early rises are happier, healthier, and more productive than their late rising counterparts.
I think this idea is perhaps best reflected by the blue sky analogy, where no matter how cloudy the sky becomes, there is always blue sky on the other side – in the same way that no matter how busy the mind appears, there is always an underlying sense of stillness if we can just stop for long enough for it to appear. But I think it’s also always a bit like running around in a kitchen banging pots and pans wildly, whilst screaming out ‘why can’t I find any peace and quiet in here?’
Do not care if people judge who or how you are and look. It might help you to know that people tease others for being too tall too — some people just tease because they’re insecure, none too bright or mean. Be proud of how you are and don’t change. If you’re still young (under 18 years) you might get taller yet and even if you don’t, you’re a valuable person in your own right.
You know your weaknesses, and you’re ready to accept them. After all, nobody is perfect, and there is no need to blame yourself for who you are. Self-acceptance helps you value yourself even though you can criticize yourself.
To become taller naturally, exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, which has been shown to help people grow. If you’re still a kid or teenager, join a sports team so you’re exercising and building strong, healthy bones. Also, make sure you’re getting 8-11 hours of sleep each night since your body grows the most when you’re sleeping. You can also become taller by avoiding things that stunt growth, like drugs, alcohol, and smoking.
