I think I could plan for something I could act on it if I could get my mind like Zorba the Greeks is below Where he could have an ambitiong and acttually not care if it came to pass. Acctually what he says is how I want to end up.
Personal development planning is the process of creating an action plan based on awareness, values, reflection, goal-setting and planning for personal development within the context of a career, education, relationship or for self-improvement .
Becoming a better version of yourself is the main goal of self-improvement—to improve in your job, your business, your relationships. Whatever area of your life you’re working on, that’s part of growing as a person. You have to constantly look at what you can improve and have the awareness to know what needs to be done to do it.
Try the Alexander technique for better posture. Used by trained singers and actors, the Alexander technique improves posture by employing what the founder of the technique, F. Matthias Alexander, called “good use of the body.” Classes teaching the technique are popular.
Wake up early. Waking up early (say, 5-6am) has been acknowledged by many (Anthony Robbins, Robin Sharma, among other self-help gurus) to improve your productivity and your quality of life. I feel it’s because when you wake up early, your mindset is already set to continue the momentum and proactively live out the day. Seth recently wrote a waking up early series which you should check out to help cultivate this habit.
The most effective way of finding out how to get better is to ask the people around you to make a list of what you’re best at and where you could make improvements. Take the list of improvements and work on them one by one.
This page is fabulous. Lots of great quotes, interesting comments and well-informed contributors and commentators. I come here to visit on a regular basis for inspiration, and will continue to do so!!

Along with learning new skills and reading, you should fill up your new found free time by meditating for 10 minutes per day. Some may think that meditating is a waste of time, but I find that clearing my head of all of my thoughts and just being present has a huge effect on my mood and happiness.
Read at least 1 personal development article a day. Some of my readers make it a point to read at least one personal development article every day, which I think is a great habit. There are many terrific personal development blogs out there, some of which you can check here.
The hyphenated compound word “self-help” often appeared in the 1800s in a legal context, referring to the doctrine that a party in a dispute has the right to use lawful means on their own initiative to remedy a wrong.
Exercise your body. Sadly, if your growth plates have closed as due to your age, exercising will not affect your growth rate. But if you enjoy swimming, biking, running, or yoga, among other sports and you have not stopped growing, exercise combined with the right diet and proper sleep should help you grow.
1) The self-improvement junkie. Self-improvement junkies feel like they need to jump on every new seminar, read all the latest books, listen to all the podcasts, lift all the weight, hire all the life coaches, open all their chakras, and talk about all their childhood traumas — both real and imagined — incessantly. For the self-improvement junkie, the purpose of self-improvement is not the improvement itself, rather it’s motivated by a subtle form of FOMO (fear of missing out). The junkie has this constant gnawing feeling that there’s still some magic tip or technique or piece of information out there that will create their next big breakthrough (again, both real or imagined).
Nicholls posits a model for happiness that I find reassuring. He stresses the value of negative thinking. He says that actively seeking happiness can often end up making people feel less happy. On page 49 he writes: “Be open to the possibility that you bought this book and you don’t actually need it.” This, I think, is my kind of self-help.
People want to grow and develop themselves because they are unsatisfied with their life and the direction it is heading. To change its course and create a satisfying life, undergoing the personal growth and development process is essential.
You cannot conspire for happiness. It is impossible. But often this is what people try to do, especially when they seek out self-help and other personal development advice — they are essentially saying, “Show me the rules of the game I have to play; and I’ll play it.” Not realizing that it’s the fact that they think there are rules to happiness that’s actually preventing them from being happy.
I have some long term goals for myself. I’ve gotten so good at visualizing them that I can see specific details. For example, when I was visualizing my dream house, I could see blades of grass when I closed my eyes and thought of the house and yard I wanted to own.
Mindfulness is not enough …It’s necessary but not m sufficient especially if we wish to develop greater happiness resiliency and even wisdom. For this we require cultivation in addition to mindfulness.
The technology is here in a big way and it works, fantastically. We know one of the best know Dutch seed banks uses them to grow some of their top secret buds, we have seen it with our own eyes and know they work better than HPS. However, not all LEDs are created equal. The cheap ‘purple’ light looking plastic UFO junk are the ones to steer clear of, look for ‘white light’ full spectrum, just like the sun, models with no fans, solid construction, honest specifications and a high end warranty. The full spectrum models in the top end range run nearly cold to touch, save around 50% in electricity and will run for over 12 years growing crops without a single bulb replacement. We take LED grow lights very seriously and review all the best models here every year.
Once you get the basics down regarding meditation, you will be amazed at the positive impact it has to improve your life. It quickly resets your mind and emotions and you come out of a mediation session feeling fresh and revived.
It is the first stage where you start thinking about your strengths and weaknesses, analyzing yourself. Self-knowledge helps you understand yourself better, learn more about your needs, and make the decision whether you want to achieve more or not.
Befriend top people in their fields. These people have achieved their results because they have the right attitudes, skill sets and know-how. How better to learn than from the people who have been there and done that? Gain new insights from them on how you can improve and achieve the same results for yourself.
High pressure sodium marijuana grow lights are a good choice for a lot of people, they have been used for growing marijuana indoors for decades. However they are not brilliant at transferring electricity into light and waste a lot of electricity on producing heat instead. LED grow lights are far more efficient at that process. The light HPS emit is also strong in the orange / red spectrum, around 2,200k, due to their inherent sodium content. If a gardener were to start a young plant under a HPS bulb, she/he would see impressive vertical growth so it is why MH lights with their more blue light are often used in the first stages and HPS in the later flowering stages. .

I know when you talk spiritual you can get in an argument most anywhere, but I have a single belief that says humans are not just animals. Some people believe we’re just an extensions and an advanced form of the animal species, but I believe humans are unique. Spiritual qualities make us different from all other creations. Now I’m an amateur on that side of it, so I can’t give you a lot of advice there, but I would recommend you be a student of the spiritual side of your nature. And whatever you have to read and assimilate to develop in that area, I would strong suggest you do.
Wait to grow naturally over time. If you do all of the previous steps, there’s a good chance that you’ve given your body the best chance to grow taller. Not everyone is going to be as tall as a basketball player or a model. Being tall isn’t everything, so learn to be comfortable with how you are.
So far, I have spoken mainly of the positives associated with personal development. However, personal development cannot make all your life experiences positive. There will always be times when bad things happen. Many times, these events will happen due to circumstances beyond your control, Other times, you will screw up and create a bit of a mess for yourself – congratulations on being human!
5. When you discover that you possess some of these undesirable traits of character and behavior, affirm to yourself often that every time you catch yourself indulging in these traits or behavior, you are going to be aware of them, and do your best to avoid them.
Take a short journey from being too self-conscious to peace of mind and self-acceptance. Being too self-conscious keeps you imprisoned. It’s like being locked into a room of one thousand mirrors, all of which showing only what you don’t like about yourself. Braking these mirrors don’t bring you seven years of bad luck, but a lifetime of self-contentment.
The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium is an ideal tool towards a successful personal growth and development experience. As we learn about our personality type and the types of others, we are empowered with an understanding of why people react differently in different situations. When put into the context of Psychological Type, we can better accept and understand people’s behaviors that are different from ours. These insights are extremely useful and powerful to us as individuals. However, if we are concerned with growing as individuals, we must take care not to use personality type as an excuse for our inappropriate behavior. While it’s powerful and useful to notice that another person’s inappropriate behavior may be due to their personality type, we cannot use the same reasoning on ourselves. We should recognize that our personality type has weaknesses, but we must use that knowledge to conquer those weaknesses rather than to excuse poor behavior. We cannot be responsible for other people’s behavior, but we can control our own.
